Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Welcome to Queens’ College JCR’s main page for the Covid-19 pandemic. Here you will find Queens’ and Cambridge-specific links and information, as well as tips for staying connected and looking after yourself. Make sure to check out all the sub-pages!

Covid-19 is a disease caused by a contagious virus (‘Coronavirus’) that affects the lungs and airways. It is responsible for a pandemic affecting billions of people worldwide. As a result, the University of Cambridge’s buildings are closed, and all that can are asked to leave Cambridge, and the College.

For more information on Covid-19, and for best practice for prohibiting the spread of the virus, see the NHS website.

It’s a distressing period for us all, with all Easter Term activities occurring remotely in 2020. The JCR is committed to keeping you all informed, connected and well.

Queens’ College has a dedicated email, covid19@queens.cam.ac.uk, for all your queries.

You may, of course, get in touch with us with questions, suggestions and concerns!

All the best for you, your friends and your family at this extraordinary time.

Tomos Wood; JCR President 2020
